Walls need insulation. Unless you opt for insulated metal panels, most metal panel systems do not provide any insulation. If you go for a non-insulated metal panel option, use a batt insulation set with the wall stud behind the metal panel cladding to provide insulation.
Face shield systems don’t need an air and moisture barrier. However, drainage and rainscreen metal panels require secondary air and moisture system. This is a very important decision to make because it will affect your blueprints and requirements for the building. If you opt for an air and moisture barrier, you may also need more building papers, elastomeric coatings, waterproofing membranes, or more.
For you to have a complete design, integrate the metal stud framing with the panel design and fastening system.

The Tuschall Engineering systems are designed to maintain well over the years. However, you will need to clean and replace the sealant as required. Dirt and pollutants easily get stuck on the metal panels. Remove this dirt so that the panel coatings last longer and do not pit. Try cleaning the system every 10 years. Most sealants need to be replaced between 7 to 20 years.
